Dear subscriber,
Thank you for reading “Last Week in Denmark”. Unfortunately, in this edition, we will not deliver you the usual themed information, as we took a break this week. Our curator & editor, Narcis George Matache, is standing for elections on Tuesday, 16 November, and he decided to completely focus on the campaign.
We know, that a lot is happening again in Denmark. The pandemic nightmare is back with all its friends – restrictions, high infection rates, calls for vaccination, etc. We promise that next week we will deep dive into what is relevant for you and make sure you don’t miss anything that the government decides.
Otherwise, we encourage you to go vote. Check your mailbox for the “valgkort” letter, open it and go to the address written inside, with your yellow card in your pocket. Get the two voting ballots (local and regional) and put an X on each of them. Put an X next to a name. Easy. Fast. Important.
Let’s make these elections a turning point for the international community. The moment when we go from under 20% voting percentage to 30%+. A clear signal to the local society that we are ready to share the burden of responsibility. Denmark is also our home and we need to act like it.
Kind regards,
Last Week in Denmark team
