🎙️Team leader for the Podcast team
Our podcast team is doing better than ever – we’ve published an episode every single week since the beginning of the year. That kind of consistency doesn’t just happen by itself. It happened because Joan Ang, our amazing team leader, brought structure, care, and a lot of behind-the-scenes coordination. Now, Joan is stepping back before the summer break, and we’re looking for someone new to take the lead – at least until the end of June.
As Podcast Team Leader, you’ll be in charge of keeping the publishing rhythm going. You’ll coordinate the schedule for hosts and editors, arrange team meetings, take notes, and make sure tasks are followed up on. You’ll also handle drafting and finalizing show notes, transcriptions, and chapter markers once the editor uploads the audio. Our episodes are pre-scheduled, then edited post-release – you’ll make sure nothing gets forgotten. On top of that, you’ll help guide the podcast’s growth strategy and keep the creative energy flowing.
We expect a weekly time commitment of around 4 hours – flexible, but steady. This is your chance to build leadership experience, flex your editorial and organizational skills, and leave your mark on one of the most international podcast projects in Denmark.
Apply until April 22 at lastweekdk@gmail.com
📢Marketing specialist for the Podcast team
Our podcast is sounding great – now we want it to look great and reach even more ears. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a creative and organized marketing specialist to help us give each episode the visibility it deserves.
As Marketing Specialist, you’ll work closely with the podcast team to bring each episode to life visually and strategically. You’ll coordinate the creation of episode covers, guide the design direction, and make sure everything stays on brand. You’ll also help oversee our marketing efforts – providing the right materials, making sure our podcast gets shared, and assisting with ideas to grow our reach.
The time commitment is around 4 hours per week – enough to make an impact, flexible enough to fit around your schedule.
Apply until April 22 at lastweekdk@gmail.com
📣Team leader for the Facebook team
After more than two years of running our page, Alina Axinte is ready to step down and let someone with fresh energy take over. We are incredibly grateful for Alina’s dedication – thanks to her efforts, the page has grown to over 5,300 followers. We wish her the best of luck on her entrepreneurial journey!
Now, we’re looking for the next face of Last Week in Denmark on Facebook. Someone who can lead the page with creativity, consistency, and community spirit. The Facebook page plays a key role in our mission – helping us connect with our readers, reach people who don’t like getting news by email, and redirect new faces to our newsletter and lwid.dk.
As Facebook Team Leader, you’ll be in charge of the page's growth and strategy. You can build your own team, create a content calendar, manage volunteers, coordinate posts, and grow an engaged community. The weekly time commitment is around 6 hours – flexible, but steady.
This is your chance to show off your social media skills, shape one of Denmark’s most international platforms, and build a name for yourself in a growing team with big ambitions.
Apply until April 22 at lastweekdk@gmail.com
🌻Team leader for the Ukrainian language edition
Our first attempt to launch a Ukrainian edition didn’t quite take off – but we’re not giving up. We’re ready to try again, and this time we want to do it right. That means starting with the most important piece: a strong team leader we can build around.
As Team Leader for the Ukrainian edition, you’ll help shape how Last Week in Denmark reaches Ukrainian speakers across the country. You’ll coordinate volunteers, manage translations, and make sure each edition is accurate, relevant, and published on time. You’ll work closely with the main editorial team, keep the workflow running smoothly, and help us grow this project into something meaningful.
The time commitment is around 4 hours per week – flexible and fully remote. If you care about helping the Ukrainian community stay informed, and want to lead a small team with purpose and impact – we’d love to hear from you.
Apply until April 22 at lastweekdk@gmail.com
🤝 Linkedin Team Member – Collaborations & Partnerships
We’re looking for someone who loves connecting the dots – and people. As our Collaborations & Partnerships volunteer, you’ll help us build meaningful relationships with the communities, organizations, and media platforms that share our mission of informing and inspiring internationals in Denmark.
You’ll be the one reaching out, setting up cross-promotions, arranging guest appearances, and finding smart ways for Last Week in Denmark to show up in new places. Whether it’s a community event, a podcast swap, or a local NGO with a great audience, you’ll help us create win-win partnerships that go beyond a single post.
Apply until April 22 by sending a DM to Pratik on Linkedin.
🤝 Linkedin Team Member – Growth & Brand Engagement
As our Growth & Brand Engagement volunteer, you’ll develop creative strategies to boost our following and increase engagement. You’ll keep an eye on what performs well, suggest new approaches, and collaborate with our content and design team to make sure everything we post hits the right tone – smart, playful, and community-first.
This is for someone who enjoys testing ideas, gets excited about digital storytelling, and wants to explore the psychology of what makes people click. If you love branding, social media, and want to grow something with real impact – we’d love to hear from you.
Apply until April 22 by sending a DM to Pratik on Linkedin.
🇷🇴 Original content curator + Marketing Specialist for the Romanian language edition
We want to make our Romanian edition more than just a translation – we want it to speak directly to the Romanian community in Denmark. To do that, we’re looking for two creative minds: one to find the right content, and one to make sure it reaches the right people.
As Original Content Curator, you’ll scan the digital spaces where Romanians in Denmark gather – Facebook groups, community pages, local events – and pick out the most relevant stories, updates, and conversations worth featuring in the newsletter. As Marketing Specialist, you’ll help the Romanian edition grow its reach, find new readers, and make sure our content doesn’t just exist – it spreads.
Time commitment is around 4 hours per week. If you’re plugged into the Romanian community and want to help shape a project that informs, connects, and inspires – this is your moment.
Apply until April 22 at gazetadanemarcei@gmail.com
🇵🇱 Marketing Specialist for the Polish language edition
Our Polish edition is growing – and now it’s time to turn up the volume. We’re looking for a marketing-savvy volunteer to help more Polish speakers in Denmark discover Last Week in Denmark.
As Marketing Specialist, you’ll be in charge of making sure the content our team works hard to translate actually reaches the community. You’ll help create and share posts, find the right online spaces to promote the edition, and come up with ideas to grow awareness and engagement. You’ll work closely with the Polish editorial team and the main communications crew to make sure everything stays coordinated and consistent.
The time commitment is around 4 hours per week – flexible, remote, and impactful. If you’re connected to the Polish community and want to use your skills to inform and inspire, this is a great way to get involved.
Apply until April 22 at Monika.elend@gmail.com
🇮🇹 Translator for the Italian language edition
We’re looking for a fluent Italian speaker to join our translation team and help bring Last Week in Denmark to the Italian community. Every week, you’ll translate the newsletter into clear, engaging Italian that feels natural to read – not like it came from Google Translate.
You’ll work closely with our international team to make sure the edition is published on time and stays true to the tone and purpose of the original. The time commitment is around 4 hours per week – flexible, remote, and meaningful. If you’re passionate about helping others stay informed and want to sharpen your translation skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply until April 22 at settegiorniindanimarca@gmail.com
📱Social Media Manager for the Italian Language Edition
Our Italian edition needs someone to help it get seen. We’re looking for a volunteer who knows how to speak social – someone who can share, promote, and grow our Italian content across the right platforms.
As Social Media Manager, you’ll post the weekly edition, engage with the Italian-speaking community in Denmark, and come up with ideas to increase visibility and reach. You’ll work closely with the editorial team to keep things smooth and on-brand. Time commitment is around 4 hours per week – remote, flexible, and a great chance to grow your communication skills while doing something that matters.
Apply until April 22 at settegiorniindanimarca@gmail.com
🇹🇷 Translator / Proofreader for the Turkish Edition (Aalborg or nearby)
As a Translator or Proofreader, you’ll help bring Last Week in Denmark to the Turkish-speaking community in clear, natural, and engaging language. You'll make sure the text flows well, makes sense culturally, and feels like it was written just for them.
We’re especially looking for someone based in Aalborg or nearby – not because the work isn’t remote, but because we’d love to build a stronger local team and occasionally meet in person for coffee, connection, and creative brainstorming.
